Thousands of people are into online dating that it becomes so dificult to find the right one for you (how do you get noticed in an overcrowded dating site?). It is even doubly hard for guys becuase there are so much more of them than the women that it becomes a tough competition.
It Is especially hard for guys when they find someone and get rejected because there are a lot of other guys to choose from. Sometimes it gets even more frustrating when a woman glady makes correspondence with you and then for some reason just stops doing it. If you have been into online dating, I'm sure you can relate to what I am talking about. This happens a lot of times. Some guys, upon seeing that they have replies from women they want, become very hopeful, only to find that he has been rejected. How do you cope with such rejections?
Wallowing in self-pity is definitely not going to help you recover. If you want to get over your rejection, just try to put it out of your mind and focus on something else. I find this very effective for me whenever I try to cheer myself up. I usually find other things that I like to do and focus on that.
It always helps to maintain a positive attitude. Even if you're feeling down, look at the bright side of things to appreciate what you have. This is not saying that you are going to forget whatever problems you may have. It is only to help you look at different sides of things. If there are bad moments, there certainly would be good ones too.
Don't lose hope even if you get rejected because it doesn't mean that no one would ever be interested in you. Maybe you just have to think things throough and devise a plan to turn things around. Make some changes and improvements.
Seeking comfort in others is a great thing, but not when it is too much. You have to be able to rely on yourself to solve your problems. So do everyone a favor and don't act like a human hosepipe and suck the fun out of everyone just for them to have pity on you. It would be better for you if you just try to cheer up and find other things that also mean something to you.
You just have to keep on trying until the time you find someone for you and if you do, grab the opportunity. Be smart and don't let it slip through your fingers.
